Cardiovascular Endurance, Flexibility, Body Composition, Muscular Strength and Muscular Endurance
Fitnessgram is the Assessment tool that we use in class to assess each student's fitness level. September, January, and May are when the tests occur. Each student will receive a pre-test report card, goal setting sheet, and a post-test report card. Throughout the semester we will perform activities to help each student reach their goals.
Goal setting a major focus to support healthy behaviors. With the help of the Nemours Health & Prevention Services my classes are creating their own Personal Health plan. Students will be introduced to resources in the community that can help them reach goals they set based on their pre-test results for Fitnessgram.
